Snapchat has released a new commercial, introducing Custom Stories, a new form of Story designed to share group moments with friends easier.
The 60-second spot, featuring a group of girl friends on a trip around the floor of the Grand Canyon using Custom Stories, highlights that, when the feature is enabled, you can create a story by tapping the new “Create Story” icon in the top-right corner of the Stories screen, give the Story a name (the user in the ad names it “Girls Trip”) and invite the friends of your choosing. The respective Story will be seen only by those friends, who will be able to contribute to the Story, and friends of friends, if you want to make this setting.
The song playing in the ad is the 2017 single “Sunroof” by LA duo courtship., formed by Eli Hirsch and Micah Gordon.
