Heinz UK promotes the Heinz Beanz (the baked beans in a deliciously rich tomato sauce) in a series of new adverts,
released with the tagline “Good for you, without going on about it”.
The 30-second “Home” spot features a man returning from his morning jog and entering the kitchen, where his wife and little daughter are getting ready to have breakfast. When asked if he’s angry, he admits he is, but reminds her that diet is the key and reveals, while taking a smoothie cup out of the fridge, that he’s on a new regime, including three Ps: Purpose, Progress and Protein. “This is the last pick”, he mentions, showing the recipient and listing the ingredients of the smoothie he’s drinking: “protein, which I am supercharged, with high fiber and minimum fat”, before having a mouthful. His wife then informs him they’re just having some beans, which are, according to the onscreen lines, high in protein, high in fibre, and low in fat.
The advert ends with the brand’s tagline, “Good for you, without going on about it”, and “Beanz Meanz Heinz”.
The Beanz range includes also Weicht Watchers (Baked Beans in tomato sauce), Five Beanz (described as “a blend of nourishing beans in our delicious classic tomato sauce), Five Beanz Snap Pots (described as “A blend of nourishing beans in our delicious classic tomato sauce”), Beanz Fridge Pack and Beanz Organic.
