Games 2017: Injustice 2 (Trailer Song)

Injustice 2 Trailer

Playstation has dropped the trailer for Injustice 2, the sequel to the hit game Injustice: Gods Among Us, that enables players to create and power up the ultimate version of their favorite DC characters.

The new fighting/action game, built by Netherrealm, the developers of the best-selling MORTAL KOMBAT franchise, allows players to personalize iconic DC Super Heroes and Super-Villains not only with unique gear earned throughout the game, but also in terms of look, fighting style and of how they develop. Picking up where Injustice: Gods Among Us left off, Injustice 2 continues the story as Batman and his allies attempt to put the pieces of society back together and fight against Superman’s Regime. On the top of that, Injustice 2 sees a new threat rising, that puts Earth’s existence at risk. It is the supervillain Brainiac, an extraterrestrial android who says about himself, in the trailer, that collects worlds and that Earth’s time is up (he also mentions that what comes next the mortals cannot stop).

The song used in the trailer is “Jungle” by British singer and songwriter Jamie N Commons and American rock band
X Ambassadors. This track is featured in the trailers for the film Pitch Perfect 2, for Season 2 of the hit drama series Orange Is the New Black, and the video game Battlefield Hardline, but also in ads for Beats by Dre, for WWEShop and as the theme song for the PPV WWE Battleground.

Injustice 2 is set to be released on May 16. Now you can pre-order and fight as Darkseid. The standard edition costs $59.99, the Digital Deluxe Edition (available digitally only), including 3 DLC fighters and 1 premier skin plus (to transform your Supergirl into Power Girl with an all-new look, voice, and dialogue), 1 exclusive gear shader pack, costs $79.99, and the Ultimate Edition, including 9 DLC fighters and 3 premier skins (to transform Flash, Green Lantern and Supergirl into alternate characters with new looks, voices and dialogue) plus 2 exclusive gear shader pack, costs $99.99.
