Ford Edge Commercial
Ford showcases the 2017 Ford Edge in a new commercial, released with the tagline “For those that find a way, always unstoppable”.
The 30-second spot, titled “For the ones you love”, features a young man who decides to make his wife, who is away with the job and misses home, a surprise. Thus, he starts packing several things from the house, grabs some snacks, including peanut butter sandwiches, and their dog, and hits the road with his Ford Edge, that proves to be the perfect travel “companion”. With plenty of space available and safety features, such as the Driver Alert Warning, that suggests him to have some rest when necessary, the man gets to the place where his wife has accommodation and hangs on the walls of her room their photos.
The spot, featuring the song “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers, ends with the woman expressing her happiness after finding her husband and their pet in her hotel room. “For the guy that finds a way, always unstoppable” – says the voiceover.
