Wendy’s promotes its 4 for $4 deal, which includes now a Double Stack Fresh Beef Cheeseburger, in a new 30-second ad, featuring talking beavers.
The spot, part of the “Real Impossibilities” ad campaign recently launched by the fast-food restaurant chain, starts with the voiceover presenting a new fact, that a beaver’s teeth never stop growing, and features several beavers, with computer generated big teeth, talking about this fact and about Wendy’s “damn good deal”.
“Is that true?”, asks one of them.
“Yeah, man.”, answers a fellow.
“That’s why we’re always chewing on logs?”.
At this point, another beaver joins the conversation asking his friends if they heard that the Double Stack is still in the 4 for $4.
“The Double Stack with two fresh beef patties?”, asks one of them.
“Yeah, man.”, answers the “informer”, making his fellows utter a “Damn”.
“Damn, that’s crazy”, exclaims one of them.
“Hey, did you, guys, hear that the Double Stack has a quarter pound of beef?”, asks a beaver getting out of the water.
“The Double Stack that’s in the 4 for $4?”, asks a fellow scratching himself.
“Yeah, man.”, answers the one who made the statement.
“Damn”, “Damn”, “Daaamn”, exclaim his fellows.
“That’s a good deal!”, concludes the beaver.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying that the Double Stack is now an option in the 4 for $4 for a limited time, adding that “with so much beef, it’s a deal so great it’s impossibly good”.
