Vauxhall invites you to enjoy fast and stable internet access on the move with the New Mokka X, able to support up to 7 devices, including smartphones, laptops, tablets and more.
The 30-second ad, aiming to highlight that Vauxhall OnStar’s powerful roof antenna reliably connects you to high-speed internet services, creating an in-car wi-fi hotspot, features two guys in a new Mokka X, arriving in a park, where girls are instantly heading towards them when they stop the car.
“What’s going on here?”, asks the driver’s friend, seated on the passenger’s seat, seeing so many gorgeous women coming in their direction.
The driver answers that he has no idea and reveals that “it happens all the time lately”, without complaining though.
The surprise on his friend’s face grows even stronger when one of the girls says “Hey, Casanova” (when the driver is not looking quite like a Casanova, but more like a geek).
As the filming angle changes and the back of the car is shown, we get to understand why the guy is being approached with this appelative: a poster with the writing “Free WiFi” and the password “Casanova” is stuck on it.
The advert ends with the voiceover saying the brand’s tagline, “It’s your life. Go drive it.”.
The manufacturer informs that, for your Wi-Fi Hotspot, you will get a free data trial period of 3 months or 3 GB (whatever comes first), and that, after the trial, you can purchase Wi-Fi Hotspot data packages separately.
