There are a few more days left until the Cinco de Mayo and brands have started to release dedicated ads.
Besides Avocados from Mexico, that highlighted “It’s not Cinco de Mayo without Avocados From Mexico”, Tostitos dropped a 30-second spot, inviting you to bring some Tostitos Cantina tortilla chips and dips to your party this Cinco De Mayo.
The commercial, featuring dozens of people partying with a variety of Tostitos products, such as Tostitos Cantina
Traditional, Tostitos Cantina Thin & Crispy and lots of dipping sauces, includes an original song, which has been made specially for the Cinco de Mayo campaign, with the following lyrics:
“At the Cantina, the Cantina we throw a party like no party anybody’s ever seen you can’t deny, no Cinco de Mayos, one of the top three holidays and days so please don’t even try at the Cantina, we’re going to party tonight all right, we’re going to party tonight”.
The 15-second version of the ad has lyrics a little bit different, respectively:
“At the Cantina, the Cantina we throw a party like no party anybody’s ever seen Ain’t gonna lie, Cinco de Mayo is when we go a little crazy so you better stop and buy the Cantina”.
