Subaru continues its series of “Short Stories” with a new story that conveys the message “Enjoyment Inspires Life”.
The 30-second spot, titled “Dirty Car”, starts with a dad and his young son doing drifts in the mud, while being out for a family picnic, to celebrate the mom’s birthday. When their fun is over, the car, a Subaru Forester, is fully covered in mud, with no inch left clean, making the family golden retriever bark at it as if it belonged to someone else.
Seeing his wife’s reaction, the man decides to make her see the silver lining and starts, helped by his kids, to make sketches with his finger on the car’s windows. He draws the face of his wife next to him, as if they were seated in the front seats, and those of his children in the back seats, with huge smiles on their faces and holding a bottle of champagne. At the back of the vehicle, the dog is drawn near a huge cake with the writing “Happy Birthday Mom” and a pile of gift boxes. Seeing the “artwork”, the woman can’t help but laugh and enjoy the precious moments her family are offering.
Subaru Forester, with a 250-hp Boxer Engine and sport-tuned suspension, includes a variety of safety features, such as EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, High Beam Assistant, Subaru Starlink Safety and Security, Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Steering Responsive Headlights, and Vehicle Dynamics Control.
