Spotify promotes its Premium plan for Family in two new hilarious ads.
One of them, titled “Dinner”, features a dinner family, with the teenage boy lip-syncing to the tune of Savage Garden’s “Truly Madly Deeply”. “What he doesn’t know is that he was made to this song, in this room, on this table”, says his mother, looking straight to the camera and then back at him, with a hint of a smile on her face, as he’s playing imaginary drums.
The other spot, titled “Door”, features the boy’s sister putting a device playing Justin Bieber’s single “Love Yourself” at the door of his room and saying “Yep, Bieber’s Love Yourself. I think we all know what’s going on in there”.
Both spots end with the onscreen lines “Spotify Premium for Family” and “Six accounts. Only £14.99”.
Spotify’s Premium Plan for Family enables you and up to five members of your family to play your own music, on individual accounts. If any of you has Spotify already, you’ll keep all your saved music, playlists and recommendations, and you’ll be able to listen to your tunes on-demand, ad-free and offline. As of the price, it’s always £14.99 for you and up to five people (all of you must reside to the same address), and you’ll get one simple bill on a monthly basis to cover the whole family.
