The trailer for the third season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been dropped, featuring some of the “adventures” in store for Kimmy, her roommate, Titus, and their landlady, Lilian.
The Netflix original comedy series, follows young Kimmy as she starts a new chapter of her life in New York City, after being rescued from a doomsday cult. The constant figures in her life are Titus Andromedon, a struggling gay actor with whom she shares an apartment, their landlady, Lilian Kaushtupper, and socialite Jacqueline Voorhees, for whom she works for.
The trailer for the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on May 19, sees Kimmy having her GED and moving on to college, where she must face new challenges, and receiving divorce papers from her former abductor. Tituss, who performs a personal version of Beyonce’s single “Hold Up” from her 2016 album “Lemonade”, wearing a dress of the same color as Beyonce’s and smashing with a baseball bat, just like her in the music video, a car’s window, is wondering if Michael is cheating on him.
The song playing at the end the trailer is “High Five” by Canadian electronic music band Dragonette.
