The Italian luxury fashion house Fendi promotes its spring/summer and pre-fall 2017 collections in a short film titled “Girl’s Secret”, starring French actress Sigrid Bouaziz.
Directed by upcoming movie director Rebecca Zlotowski, who directed the award-winning films “Belle Epine” and “Grand Central, and “Planétarium”, starring Natalie Portman and Lily-Rose Depp, the short film, set in Paris, features Sigrid as a contemporary MarienAntoinette (the character that inspired Karl Lagerfeld to design the spring collection) having fun on a night out with her friends.
She is first shown in her apartment, sifting through clothes, shoes, and accessories while getting ready to go out, then chatting and taking selfies in the car with her pals, playing bowling and pool, and going back home at the crack of dawn.
Among the featured items there are, besides many colorful dresses and footwear, carefully crafted and daringly detailed bags, such as Micro Peekaboo (€ 1950), in cream-coloured leather, with a delicate Flowers print, Small Kan I (€ 1650), in pink laminated leather, the chic new Can Eye Sunglasses, and watches.
The cast ensemble includes also models Ella Richards and Maya Salomon and actresses Tugba Sunguroglu, Raph, Bianca O’Brien, Marilyn Lima, and Louise Grinberg. Sigrid, who made her modeling debut at age 15, played the role of Lara in the 2016 drama film “Personal Shopper” by Olivier Assays, starring also Kristen Stewart.
The song used in the film is the 2016 single “N.E.M.” by alternative indie group Las Aves, from their debut album “Die In Shanghai”.
