Bud Light invites you to take happy hour to the next level with people who can truly understand what a though day at work is like: your coworkers.
The 30-second spot, created with the idea that “it only makes sense to spend happy hour with those you spend most time with” and titled “Happy Hour With Coworkers”, features a group of seemingly corporate employees entering a bar and unleashing their wild side after grabbing a Bud Light. They start to show off their dance moves on the rhythms of Ice-T’s 1988 single “Colors” (which was issued as the title track for the soundtrack to the film of the same name), play pool, and have fun with no self restraint until another group, of retailer employees, enter the local.
The moment of tension seeing each other soon vanishes and the two “gangs” start having fun together.
The commercial ends with the onscreen line “At happy hour, you’re not just coworkers, you’re co-friends” and with Bud Light’s tagline, “Famous among friends”.
