Target has released a new commercial, introducing Victoria Beckham’s collection for Target, due out on April 9.
The 30-second spot, set to the rhythm of Spice Girl’s 1997 hit single “Spice Up Your Life”, features some of the items created by the fashion designer for women, girls, and baby. The collection includes black and white prints, gingham dresses, floral dresses, scalloped tops, peplum mini-frocks, and loose shirting, and even plus-size garments, running up to size 3X, with prices ranging from $6 to $70.
This collaboration marks Victoria’s first time designing kids’ clothing, but since it was a dream of hers to do so for a long time and she is mother of four, the design process went smoothly. The former Spice Girls member revealed that her daughter Harper is been wearing the collection already and she loves it. With regard to the inaugural plus-size offering, she said that she wants to design for women no matter their budget, age, or size, and that she wants to empower them and make them feel like the best versions of themselves, adding that she is also an important thing, that she’s proud of.
The collection will be available in both Target stores and online, with select pieces available on Victoria Beckham’s website.
