Sunrise Commercial – Roger Federer
The Swiss telecommunications provider Sunrise has released a new commercial, promoting Sunrise One, a package providing users with Internet, TV, Landline and Mobile “without limits”, “at maximum speed”, and “at an unbeatable price”.
The 30-second spot features Roger Federer on a deserted island, long-haired and long-bearded, trying to light a fire with his racquet. Everything changes when the tennis ball asks him what is the one thing he would bring on a lonely island. After a few seconds, his wish comes true, as a Sunrise One package suddenly shows up in front of him. Thus, he starts doing all kind of things, from ordering a sandboard base (to learn sandboarding), a couch, a TV, and the necessary pieces to build a boat, to actually building the boat. Before leaving the island, he takes some time also for himself, so he orders the services of a barber, who makes him look fresh.
The commercial ends with the voiceover saying “You only need One. Sunrise One. Everything in one package. Everything always unlimited and at maximum speed”. The package price is 139 CHF (around $137 and €130) per month.
