Snickers promotes the Snickers Bites with a new 15-second spot, stating that “You’re not you when you’re hungry. Even a little”.
The commercial, titled “Unfamous” and created with the idea that “Not everyone turns into a celebrity when they’re hungry and that some people change just a little”, features a married couple on their couch, watching TV, with a bag of Snickers bites between them.
“These Snickers commercials make it seem like hungry people turn into huge celebrities and look at me: I turn to Rick from down the streets”, says the man upset.
“You’re not that angry, so you’re not that different”, answers his wife, asking him to have some Snickers bites.
He takes one and then, turned into his actual version (younger and better-looking), asks his wife “Better?”.
“A little”, comes his wife’s reply.
The spot ends with the onscreen lines “You’re not you when you’re hungry. Even a little”.
Snickers brand, owned by the leading global food company Mars Incorporated, highlights that it handles your hunger so you can handle anything and mentions that its products, available in a variety of pack sizes, to suit your individual needs, are a treat that can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
