Samsung shows you “what happens if you refuse to listen to what can’t be done” in its latest commercial, promoting the new Gear VR headset with a Bluetooth motion controller and inviting you to #DoWhatYouCant.
The 90-second spot features an ostrich that puts on by mistake a Gear VR headset left on a table and launches a flight simulator inside it. Afterwards, the ostrich, which is a bird that can’t fly, manages to soar into the air, with its puzzled fellows chasing him, on the ground, obviously.
The ad, set to the trythms of Elton John’s 1972 single “Rocket Man (I Think It’s Going To Be A Long, Long Time)”, considered one of the greatest songs of all-time, ends with the tagline “We can make what can’t be made. So you can do what can’t be undone.”
