Maytag Man Commercial
Maytag has released a new commercial, promoting the laundry configurations.
The 30-second spot features the Maytag Man and a clone of him in a Maytag laundry appliances store, embodying a top-load laundry, and a woman seeing him/it and expressing her delight. “Nice”, “Wow”, says the woman while touching the Maytag Man and looking at him from various angles. Maytag Man, with a serious implacable look on his face, says “Maytag appreciates a compliment, but this Maytag Washer isn’t just eye candy”, adding that “inside, it’s got the capacity and power to handle even the mightiest loads”.
“I love this”, says the woman unzipping Maytag Man’s jacket. The next moment, her husband shows up and, giving a powerful slap on Maytag Man’s back, expresses his opinion: “She’s a beauty”. “It’a a he”, informs him his wife. “How do you know?”, he asks. “Don’t worry about it”, answers his wife.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying the brand’s tagline, “What’s inside matters”.
Maytag highlights that its laundry machines are ENERGY STAR certified to help you save money and reduce your carbon footprint, while still giving you the same level of performance you’ve come to trust.
