Gucci has launched the Spring Summer 2017 campaign with a short ad, featuring pieces from the new collection.
The spot, shot on location in Rome, at Trevi Fountain, by Glen Luchford, stars a male model taking off the cotton T-shirt with Future print he’s wearing, remaining only in the brand’s vintage wool pants. The female model sunbathing laid on her back, next to him, is sporting the GG Wallpaper print silk skirt. The video showcases also new eyewear and the GG backpack with printed appliqués recalling travel stickers on vintage suitcases.
The song used in the ad is “Amore Disperato” by the Italian singer Nada.
