GEICO Sheriff
GEICO promotes its services in a new commercial featuring a sheriff who faces off against a group of outlaws with some unique intimitation tactics.
The 30-seconds spot shows the sheriff entering a bar where a gang of outlaws (played by Tobias Jelinek, Brent Chase and Alvin Cowan) are about to start a fight with the patron (played by Sonni Paisley).
“It’s time for you and your boys to get out of town!”, says the sheriff (played by Chris Browning). Seeing the three quarrelings laughing in response to his order, he starts the walk. “Left foot, right foot, left foot. Stop.”, counts the sheriff his steps while getting closer. “Twitch your eyes so they think you’re crazy.”, he advises the outlaws.
At this point, the voiceover says “If you walk the walk, you talk the talk. It’s what you do.” adding that “if you want to save 15% or more on car insurance, you switch to GEICO”.
The sheriff continues listing his intimidation techniques, that he applies right away: “Hide the eyes”, “Show’em real slow”.
