eBay continues its ad campaign with a new commercial, hightlighting that it helps everyone find their version of perfect.
The spot, set to the rhythms of “The Edge of Something New” by TopLady, features several young people using eBay to find the things they love. The range of products varies from skateboards, boxing gloves, motorcycles, drum sets, earphones, to accessories and cosmetics. These are all shown in the ad, in various contexts, such as a young woman who’s boxing with the box gloves found on eBay, another young woman who plays the drums, another one who takes photos in a forest with the photo camera bought from eBay, another one putting lipstick on, in the car, before hitting the road, a group of girl friends taking selfies in a park, sporting their new sunglasses, a young woman training and listening to music in her earphones. There are also men starring in the ad: a cook, a DJ, guys playing bascketball, a man fixing a motorcycle and another riding it, and a guy who skateboards after buying the skateboard he wants at eBay.
eBay, describing themselves as “the world’s favorite destination for discovering great value and unique selection”, is an online auction and shopping website in which people and businesses buy and sell a wide range of goods and services worldwide.
