letgo Commercial – Tornado
“We’re all holding onto stuff we don’t need. It’s time to let go” – this is the message the latest letgo commercial carries.
The 15-second “Tornado” spot highlights that letgo app lets you sell and buy virtually anything quickly, easily and locally, even if a tornado is about to blow you away. The ad features a teenage girl holding her mother, who’s holding onto a wooden toy horse.
“Mom, I’m never going to want it”, says the girl.
“You might, if you have kids”, is her mother’s reinforcement.
“All right. Let’s sell it on letgo”, suggests the girl, taking a photo of the horse with her smartphone and instantly uploading it on letgo.
The next moment, a car lands in front of their house, with a couple in it, saying they want to buy it.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying “it’s time to snap, post, chat, and sell. It’s time to let go”.
