Nintendo has released the trailer for the upcoming I Am Setsuna, scheduled to be released for Nintendo Switch on March 3.
The Japanese role-playing video game developed by Tokyo RPG Factory, set in a land gripped by perpetual winter, revolves around Setsuna, a young maiden chosen to be offered as a sacrifice to a fiend, so that peace could be maintained, according to an ancient custom. She must travel with her safeguards to the place where the ceremony of sacrifice will be held. Players take control of a party of characters, navigating environments from an angled top-down perspective.
A key theme running through the game is “sadness”, which is beautifully illustrated by the soundtrack music, composed by Tomoki Miyoshi. Almost all tracks were performed on solo piano played by Randy Kerber, who had worked on major films including Forrest Gump and Titanic.
