H&M Commercial 2017 – Dress
H&M has released a new commercial, featuring “the journey of a dress” presented by Natalia Vodianova.
“Plastic pollution is a global issue, with millions of tons annualy up ending in waterways and oceans”, says Vodianova at the beginning of the 40-second spot, adding that, “through recycling, waste could be reborn as something beautiful”. “Just imagine a world where a dress can have a positive impact on our planet”, continues the Russian model nicknamed Supernova, while on the screen viewers get to see a beautiful dress made from polyester.
The 2017 Conscious Exclusive collection features a new material, BIONIC, which is a recycled polyester from recovered plastic from shorelines, waterways and coastal communities.
