Christian Dior has released a new commercial, inviting you to discover the new Dior Addict Lacquer Stick, the first lip lacquer in a stick by Dior.
The 20-second spot features actress Jennifer Lawrence in Los Angeles, wearing the weightless, infinitely comfortable lip lacquer, and the palette of 18 color creations available.
The brand mentions that this stick has a “lip fondant” effect, which demonstrates all the color and shine of a lacquer, plus the comfort of a balm. Easy to apply, the Dior Addict Lacquer Stick ensures 6 hours of wear and an unrivaled texture, thanks to its revolutionary formula that liberates saturated color and liquid shine in a single sweep.
Inspired by the most symbolic L.A. spots, the four color trends created by the brand’s Creative and Image Director are Pastel (evoking a Californian postcard from the ’50), Neon (evoking the energy of the City of Angels), Classic (illustrating the Hollywood glamour), and Wild (with neo-nudes and browns that flirt with grunge).
The song used in the ad is “I Want Candy” by the English 1980s new wave band Bow Wow Wow, from their 2004 album “Napoleon Dynamite original soundtrack”.
