Clorox ToiletWand Commercial – Brush with Tape Recorder

Clorox has released a new ad campaign, titled “The Break Up”, with a series of spots inviting you to break up with your brush because you deserve better. After the “The Break Up” spot, featuring a woman dumping her toilet brush during a dinner at a restaurant, the brand has released a new spot, titled “Winning Her Back”.

The ad features the brush in a scene inspired from the 1989 Say Anything… movie, with the brush outside the woman’s house, holding a tape recorder playing a romantic song and begging her out loud to take him back.
“It’s over, ok? There’s someone else”, says the woman from the window, adding “Someone not just different. He’s
better”.
“What’s he got that I don’t?”, asks the brush, still holding the tape recorder in both his hands.
“The whole package. He’s always clean, he’s got a great pad, and he’s not a potty mouth”, explains the woman.
“So you’re just going to flush away all those years?”, comes the brush’s next question. “You think letting go is as easy as pushing a button? I can change”, tries the brush to convince the woman to give him another chance.
“No, not like him”, replies the woman from the window.
The spot ends with the voiceover saying “Clorox ToiletWand – smarter, cleaner, better. With built-in cleaner that kills 99.9% of germs”, and advising you to “break up with the brush”.
