UnitedHealthcare Chuck Norris Commercial
Chuck Norris stars in the latest commercial for UnitedHealthcare, released with the piece of advice to not ever throw Chuck Norris anything but a compliment and inviting you to see how tools from UnitedHealthcare can help save time and money.
The 60-second spot, titled “Lunch with Chuck”, features two friends who, after seeing Chuck Norris at their local diner, start sharing “stories” about the martial artist. “I heard when Norris’s hiking, grizzlies look out for him”, “I heard Chuck Norris wears a hat to protect the sun”, “I heard medicine takes Chuck Norris to feel better”, “I heard that what actually killed the dinosaurs was Chuck Norris” – are only some of the jokes said by the two old friends at the table. Wondering if he’s still got it, they decide to challenge Chuck Norris’s abilities, and make also a $1 bet. One of them throws at Chuck the salt shaker to see if he catches it, but he gets it back right into his nose. And, on the top of that, he loses the bet. Chuck Norris’s still got it.
At this point, the voiceover says “You can’t always see what’s coming, but when you choose UnitedHealthcare finding an in-network doctor that’s close to home is easy”. As the ad ends, viewers get to see the injured senior at the doctor found via United Healthcare, talking about reflexes.
