iPhone 7 Plus Commercial 2017
Apple has released a new commercial, highlighting that now, thanks to the dual-camera design and the Portrait Mode feature of the iPhone 7 Plus, taking a professional-looking portrait is as easy as snapping a photo.
The 60-second spot starts with a young girl visiting her grandmother in a small Greek village who, after taking a photo of the latter with her new iPhone 7 plus, in a coffee shop, is asked by everyone in the village to take photos of them. Thus, she creates an entire collection of portraits, including the postman, the baker, a local artist, fishermen, a priest, the barber, a shepherd, and kids, which are shown full-screen in the ad once they are taken.
The spot ends with the onscreen line “Portrait mode on iPhone 7 Plus” and the tagline “practically magic”, which has been used to advertise iPhone 7 since September, when the “Balloons” ad was released, and continued with “Frankie’s Holiday” ad.
According to Apple, the Portrait Mode on the iPhone 7 Plus helps you take great portraits by creating a depth-of-field effect that blurs backgrounds and brings faces into beautifully sharp focus.
