HSBC UK has released a new advert, introducing HSBC Voice ID, which you can use to access your telephone banking and “take you one step closer to doing all the things you want to do, when you want to do them”.
The 60-second spot features a young boy who follows a group of peers into a forest, at a secret den, where the entry is conditioned by a secret code. He knocks on the door, but no one answers and, seeing several glass bottles dangling around, he starts making various sounds, but with no success. Eventually, he receives a text message informing him that his voice is his password. After reading it out loud, a ladder comes down and he can join the other kids at the tree house.
The advert ends with the voiceover saying that, at HSBC, you can now use your voice as your secure telephone banking password, and adding the brand’s tagline “Onwards”.
