Pantene Ronda Rousey Commercial
Pantene has partnered with Ronda Rousey for its latest ad campaign, Strong Is Beautiful, so that she could speak on behalf of strong women everywhere and deliver this message.
Titled “Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Strong”, the 30-second spot features the American mixed martial artist, judoka, and actress, who was the first U.S. woman to earn an Olympic medal in judo, talking about herself as follows: “Don’t hate because I’m strong. Strong is beautiful. I’m not one without the other. People calling this man, they call me savage, but if you think fears can’t be feminine, I’m about to show you what only a strong woman can do”, says Ronda, who appears as both a sportswoman, with her gear on, training, and also as a young lady, wearing a white dress, with her hair let on the back, and a discrete make-up.
The ad ends with the final onscreen line “Strong is Beautiful”.
