CA Technologies Wishes Commercial

“What do you wish for? A nice life? Nice things? Or do you wish for something more? A sense of purpose” – these are the questions raised in CA’s latest commercial, described as a “Public Service Announcement”.

“Do you wish to discover a cure? To write code that cracks an unsolvable question? To further our exploration into space? Or to invent something that changes everything, right here on Earth?” – continues to ask the female voiceover, who then invites you to “make yourself ready” if that’s your wish, in the 60-second spot featuring several children celebrating their birthday together with family and friends, with cake.

“Because when you look back, you’ll see that you didn’t just make wishes, you realized them”, says the voiceover at the end, while on the screen an old lady and a little girl blow out the candles on their cake.

The ad ends with the onscreen lines “Your future can be as big as you wish” and “Science Technology Engineering Math STEM Careers – Unlock the potential in every young person” and “Brought to you by CA Tehnologies”.

CA Technologies, one of the largest independent software corporations in the world, formerly known as Computer Associates International, Inc. and CA, Inc., revealed that this commercial is inspired by the makeup of their employees, and that they intend to support future generations to learn math and science because “they are the future problem solvers that will make for a better world and a thriving global marketplace”.
