Burberry TV Advert – The Tale of Thomas Burberry
Burberry has released a new ad, starring Domhnall Gleeson and Sienna Miller, telling the tale of Thomas Burberry, the founder of the international chain which has become, over the years, one of Britain’s largest branded clothing businesses.
The video, with a script by Matt Charman, directed by Academy Award-winner Asif Kapadia and inspired by the innovative discoveries of Burberry, such as gabardine, used to make suits, overcoats, trousers, uniforms, windbreakers and other garments, features Gleeson in the role of Burberry.
The cast includes also Dominic West and Lily James.
The soundtrack music is “Diminuendo” performed by Lawless featuring Britt Warner and “Take You There”, performed by Weyes Blood.
