The Young Pope (2016 Movie)
From Oscar winning director Paolo Sorrentino comes, this Fall, the TV series The Young Pope, starring Jude Law in the title role, as as conservative cigarette-smoking American pontiff Pius XIII.
The show stars also Diane Keaton as a nun, James Cromwell as Cardinal Michael Spencer, Silvio Orlando as Cardinal Voiello, the Secretary of State, Scott Shepherd as Cardinal Dussolier, Cecile de France as Sofia, in charge of marketing at Vatican City, and Ludivine Sagnier as Esther, the wife of a Swiss guard.
The Young Pope will have its world premiere on September 3, at the Venice Film Festival, where the first two episodes will screen. This is a Sky Original Production premiering 27th October exclusively on Sky Atlantic.
