Nocturnal Animals is an upcoming drama thriller starring Amy Adams as an art gallery owner haunted by her ex-husband’s novel, a violent thriller she interprets as a veiled threat and a symbolic revenge tale.
Written and directed by Tom Ford, the film is based on based on Austin Wright’s 1993 novel “Tony and Susan” and stars also Jake Gyllenhaal, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Michael Shannon, Isla Fisher, Armie Hammer and Laura Linney.
Nocturnal Animals, a feature exploring the thin lines between love and cruelty, and revenge and redemption, with soundtrack music by Abel Korzeniowski, won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2016 Venice International Film Festival and is scheduled to be released in theaters this Fall, on November 18.
Focus Features has released a sneak peek of the official teaser trailer. The full trailer will debut on September 15.
