The Great Gilly Hopkins (2016 Movie)
The American drama The Great Gilly Hopkins, directed by Stephen Herek, will be released this fall, on October 7, by Lionsgate Premiere.
The film, centered around Gilly Hopkins, a 12-year-old girl that moved from one foster home to another until one day, when she is placed with Maime Trotter, and discovers what she means to be family. Her life gets upside down when her biological mother shows up.
With Sophie Nélisse in the leading role, the movie stars also Julia Stiles, Glenn Close, Kathy Bates, Octavia Spencer, Bill Cobbs, and Billy Magnussen.
