Summertime (2016 Movie)
Summertime, the French-Belgian romantic drama which won the Variety Piazza Grande Award at the 2015 Locarno International Film Festival, has been released in theatres on July 22.
Directed by Catherine Corsini, the film, with the original title La Belle Saison, is centered around the love story between Carole and Delphine, two young women living in 1971’s France. Their relationship is put at test, though, when Delphine is called home and is forced to choose between her family’s wish and the affair with Carole.
The tracks used in the trailer is “Move Over” by Janis Joplin and “Paris, printemps 1971” composed by Grégoire Hetzel for the movie soundtrack.
