Powerade Commercial – Lopez Lomong
Powerade has released a series of new 15-second ads starring the US Olympian Lopez Lomong.
The spots, titled “Road”, “Push” and “Chase”, feature the South Sudanese-born American track and field athlete as “just a kid from Kimotong” who has succeeded to fulfill his dreams after having worked hard.
“The road is long and hard. But there is a road”, says the voiceover in the first spot, featuring Lomong running on a track.
“It’s not how far you run, it’s how far you’ve come”, says the voiceover in the second spot, featuring Lomong running on a street.
“If you’re gonna chase your dreams, remember, you’re faster than you think”, says the voiceover in the third spot, featuring Lomong running in a forest and having a sip of Powerade.
