La La Land (2016 Movie)
Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are a couple. But only on the silver screen, not in reality. The two actors play the leading roles in the upcoming American musical comedy-drama film La La Land, written and directed by Damien Chazelle.
Gosling is Sebastian, a jazz pianist who falls for Mia, an aspiring actress in Los Angeles who serves drinks to movie stars in between auditions. The relationship they build is put at test by hard decisions and high ambitions.
The cast includes also J. K. Simmons, Callie Hernandez, Finn Wittrock, Meagen Fay and Rosemarie DeWitt.
With soundtrack music by Justin Hurwitz, the movie will have its world premiere on August 31, at Venice Film Festival, and will be released in US theaters on December 2.
The song playing in the official trailer is Ludwig van Beethoven’s Piano sonata No.14 in C sharp minor “Moonlight”.
