British Gas TV Advert 2016
British Gas is introducing Free Electricity. Every Saturday or Sunday, from 9am to 5pm, British Gas customers can get free electricity thanks to the new company’s FreeTime plans.
In order to promote this offer, a special advert has been launched, featuring Wilbur the penguin dancing around the house, while the family does household chores. The song playing in the background is “More Than A Feeling”, the debut single of the rock band Boston, released forty years ago.
The spot ends with the voiceover recommending to “go online to switch now and start saving” and then saying the tagline, “British Gas – Helping you to look after your home”.
