Blood Father (2016 Movie)
Mel Gibson returns to the silver screen with the role of a ex-convict who meets his 16-year-old daughter for the first time and tries to protect her from a band of criminals intending to kill her.
The movie, titled Blood Father, is directed by Jean-François Richet and stars also Elisabeth Röhm, William H. Macy, Diego Luna, Erin Moriarty, Thomas Mann and others.
The trailer features Gibson as a tattoo artist who becomes a protective dad when his estranged daughter shows up at his door saying that she’s hunted down by drug dealers. The soundtrack music is done by Sven Faulconer.
The release in US theaters is set for August 26.
