Amazon Prime Series 2016: The Collection

Amazon Prime has released a 15-second teaser trailer for the upcoming drama series The Collection, with the message that “nothing bold or magnificent is built from fear”.

Set in the world of French haute couture just after the Second World War, the new eight-part TV show, which is
Amazon’s first original British drama, tells the story of a family at an illustrious Paris fashion house emerging from the dark days of the German occupation.
The Collection is directed by Emmy-winner Dearbhla Walsh and stars Richard Coyle, Michelle Gomez, Frances de la Tour, Michael Kitchen and Mamie Gummer, one of Meryl Streep’s daughters, James Cosmo, Allan Corduner and others.
The series premieres this fall, on September 2, on Amazon Prime.
