The latest Subaru’s commercial, released to showcase the new 2017 Subaru Forester, reminds us that we can fit a lot of memories into a Subaru, but there’s always room for more.
The 60-second spot, titled “Making Memories”, features a father cleaning out the family’s old Subaru Forester as he intends to pass it on to his 16-year-old daughter. In the process, he finds all kind of objects which trigger memories of moments shared with the girl, moments which appear on the lawn, such as her playing in the sand, running toward him after the first day of school, walking with crutches because of her broken leg, and going to the prom.
While in the background the song “Time Will Tell”, performed by Gregory Alan Isakov, plays, the voiceover says: “You can pass down a Subaru, but you get to keep the memories. That’s why we got another Forester” and adds the company’s tagline: “Love. It’s What Makes a Subaru a Subaru”.
