Tallulah (2016 Movie)
Netflix presents a new original film, with Ellen Page and Allison Janney in the lead roles, scheduled to air on July 29.
Titled Tallulah, the movie is a comedy-drama set in New York City and centered around Tallulah, a young woman who, after being abandoned by her mother in childhood, has been left with no money by her boyfriend, Nico. In her search for him, she goes to his mother’s apartament with a 1-year-old baby girl that she rescues from an irresponsible drunk woman, pretending that she’s her own.
Written and directed by Sian Heder, Tallulah had its world premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. The movie and the two actresses have received positive reviews from critics.
