Sully (2016 Movie)
Tom Hanks is Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger in the upcoming American biographical drama Sully, scheduled to be released in theaters this fall, on September 9.
Directed and co-produced by Clint Eastwood, the film tells the story of the American pilot Chesley Sullenberger (Sully), who landed the troubled US Airways Flight 1549 full of passengers on the Hudson River, operation known afterwards as the “Miracle on the Hudson”.
An adaption of Sully’s autobiography “Highest Duty”, written together with Jeffrey Zaslow, the movie stars also Laura Linney, as Sully’s wife,
Aaron Eckhart, Anna Gunn, Autumn Reeser, Holt McCallany, Jamey Sheridan and others.
