Denial (2016 Movie)
Deborah E. Lipstadt’s book “History on Trial: My Day in Court with a Holocaust Denier” has been made into a feature film titled “Denial”, which is scheduled to be released this fall, on September 30.
Directed by Mick Jackson, the movie follows the story of Lipstadt’s legal battle for historical truth against David Irving, who accused her of slander when she declared him a Holocaust denier.
Deborah E. Lipstadt’s role is played by Rachel Weisz and David Irving by Timothy Spall. The cast includes also Tom Wilkinson, Andrew Scott, Jack Lowden, Caren Pistorius and others.
