Lowe’s Commercial 2016 – House Love
The “Make Your House Happy” advertising campaign, launched by Lowe’s Home Improvement, has now a new commercial. It is actually more of a short film, three-minutes long, centered around two love stories: one between a teenage girl and a teenage boy who meet after they become neighbors and one between their houses, who also seem to fall in love and express human emotions, such as smiles and winks.
When the girl’s former house is put out for sale and falls into disrepair, she (now-married and mother of a young-boy) and her family decide to give a new look to the house, which helps them to find a buyer very soon.
Created by the creative agency BBDO, with the slogan “Sometimes all a house needs is a little love”, the ad is much appreciated for its story and open ending, that leaves viewers asking themselves if the new children shown at the end smiling at each other will walk the same path.
