Casual returns to the small screen with season two, focusing, this time, on the complexities of finding friends and meaningful relationships as an adult.
The American comedy-drama series, centered around a bachelor brother, founder of a dating app (Alex), his newly divorced sister, a successful psychiatrist (Valerie) and her teenage daughter (Laura), who get to live again under the same roof, is broadcoast on Hulu. This is, in fact, the first Hulu series nominated for a Golden Globe.
The new season, of 13 episodes, set to premiere on June 7, features Valerie having a real psychological breakthrough, Laura searching for a new school, having a new best friend and a new boyfriend, and Alex reconnecting with an ex-girlfriend.
