Wayward Pines – season two
Wayward Pines returns to the small screen with season two at the end of this month. The new episodes of the American mystery TV series, based on Blake Crouch’s novels of the same name, will be broadcast on Fox, starting May 25.
The show follows US Secret Service agent Ethan Burke, who gets stranded in the seemingly idyllic town of Wayward Pines (Idaho), which proves to be creepy. “Do not try to leave. Do not discuss the past. Do not discuss your life before. Always answer the phone if it rings. Work hard, be happy, and enjoy your life in Wayward Pines!” – these are rules that all inhabitants of Wayward Pines must follow, as they are strictly supervised and punished by a public execution in case they attempt to escape.
Given the pact made by the producers, to create something “truly great” for the next season, fans can only be optimistic about how the show will proceed.
