ABC Series 2016: Conviction
Conviction is a new drama series ordered by ABC, following Hayes Morrison, a laywer who leads the Conviction Integrity Unit, in New York City. After having ended up there to avoid jail time for drug possession, she uses her skills, along with other lawyers, detectives and forensic experts, to turn over cases of wrongful conviction.
The main role is played by the British-American actress Hayley Atwell, who has recently remained “jobless” after the cancellation of Agent Carter series, broadcast by the same network (due to low ratings). The cast includes also
Shawn Ashmore, Merrin Dungey, Emily Kinney, Manny Montana and Daniel DiTomasso.
Conviction is scheduled to air on Mondays, at 10pm/9c starting this fall.
