ABC Series 2016: American Housewife
American Housewife is an upcoming comedy series following Katie Otto, a plump but confident wife and mother, who raises her three children in the town of Westport, Connecticut.
She and her family live in a modest home in a neighborhood filled with large houses and rich people, which is often a challenge. Her eldest daughter is Taylor, a 14-year-old teenager that turns into a gourgeous girl, the middle child is 12-year-old Harrison, who saves money to buy Apple stock and refuses to donate canned food for the school food drive, and the youngest one is 5-year-old Anna Kat, who has to deal with several phobias.
The series, which will air on ABC on Tuesdays, from 8.30 pm, starting this fall, stars Katy Mixon as Katie Otto, Diedrich Bader as Katie’s husband, Jeff, Johnny Seqyoyah, Daniel DiMaggio, Julia Butters, Carly Hughes and Ali Wong.
