Kabbage Commercial 2016 – Marriage
Kabbage Incorporated appealed to an analogy with marriage in their new advertising campaign, for Kabbage app (online provider of small business loans).
The 32-second commercial starts with a young man in a small room, talking about how he intends to deal with his startup related issues.
“I need money for bigger space for my company. So I’m gonna do what any small business owner would do, he says. “Marry the widow of an oil tycoon”.
The next scene shows him being french-kissed by a 90-year-old bride and remaining with her denture in his mouth.
Seeing the look on the groom’s face, the priest intervenes by saying to him: “You can use Kabbage. Get the money you need for your small business in just minutes”.
While on the screen rule images of the newly-married couple leaving together, the narrator says: “For small business line of credit, up to $100,000, make Kabbage your first resort”.
